Creating Unique Items with a Story

These signs express much more than an aesthetic connection to me, they share part of my story: a husker at heart, born and raised on a farm in Nebraska, I am a proud Nebraskan. But beyond the Great Plains and the "good life", I love the world and all the people and cultures that inhabit it. Furthermore, the wood used to make these signs came from a barn my grandfather tore down in the 1960's or 70's. I never had the blessing to meet my grandfather, but his memory lives on in these signs, and there's an emotional connection to crafting something from a material my grandfather touched physically, and saw value in reusing. -Mike
